Every GM we know has six browser tabs open during a session. One for initiative, one for NPC names, one for the map, one for the rules, one for notes — and one they’ve already lost track of. The tools exist. They just don’t talk to each other, and none of them were built with the GM’s table in mind.
Candlelight is our answer to that. One place for your campaigns, your characters, your maps, your sessions, and the moments in between.
What we’re building
A campaign companion that covers the full arc of running a game — from the first scene outline to the final session recap. Campaign management, NPC generation, live tabletop maps, a shared wiki, and tools for running on-the-fly content when the players go somewhere you didn’t plan for.
We believe the GM’s prep time is valuable and their table time is irreplaceable. Candlelight should make both easier, without turning into another thing to manage.
Who we are
Scrying Table is an independent studio, purpose-built for tabletop RPG. We play at tables too — as GMs and as players — which means we feel the friction we are trying to remove.
Candlelight is in active development. We ship frequently, we read every piece of feedback, and we build in public. If you’ve found something broken or have an idea you’d like to see, we want to hear it.
